Italian excellence is on show in Paris, from September 6 to October 20, within the project entitled “La Famiglia Rive Gauche” which celebrates the well-known Parisian department store Le Bon Marché. The store has decided to set up special exhibition spaces and tasting areas in the adjoining Grande Epicerie.
Fashion and food are therefore the key players in the four theme areas in which the exhibition develops: “Mamma” (“Mum”), “Sport” (“Sport”), “Moda” (“Fashion”), and “Famiglia” (“Family”), along a path aimed at paying tribute to the Italian spirit and culture, as already done in the past for Brasil, Japan, Brooklyn and Paris.
The exhibition will extend over a surface of 1,100 sqm, where as many as 150 Italian brands are on show in several sections. Among them, Borsalino is present with its “Itinerant Made To Measure Experience Trunk”, the trunk storing the craftsmanship secrets of Borsalino customised production.
The exhibition also dedicates an important space to “Wait and See” – the Milan-based store founded by Uberta Zambeletti; visitors will also find Marinella’s ties, an exhibition-exclusive collection realised by fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni, Invicta backpacks, as well as a series of proposals by “10×10 An Italian Theory” (the brand property of Alessandro Enriquez).
