Buyers of “La Moda Italiana”, the appointment branded by Ente Moda Italia that took place from 27th until 29th January in the Westin Chosun Hotel environment, are growing.
The event staged the 2016-2017 Fall/Winter collections of 45 italian brands, thanks to the choice to extend the event by one day. The 8th edition, which was, in fact, held in three days, recalled more than 900 operators among the leading department stores of South Corea against the 600 buyers that attended the two day event of the last year. Between them, Lotte, Shinsegae, Mcm, Hyunday and big fashion group like Lf and Samsung. “The italian fashion products are meeting with growing consensus in South Corea – affirmed Antonio Gavazzeni, president of Ente Moda Italia – and in terms of sales is one of the country that continues to record the best performance. In the first ten months of 2015 the data of Sistema Moda Italia noticed a +11% for the italian fashion export to Korea, with some product segments rising even faster.
This 8th participation confirmed the potentiality and the great interest of korean operators to the style and the italian creativity.
