For the next Spring-Summer 2019, stylist Cédric Charlier starts from Italy, where he loves to spend his holidays, to undertake a journey under the sun of the Mediterranean Sea and to highlight his passion for Renaissance arts, which in turn meet the taste of Ancient Greece.
Cédric Charlier likes to use clear-cut lines, to mix masculine with feminine elements, while defining a casual, cheerful allure for a collection featuring light materials, summer hues, printed foulards and floral jacquards enriched with coral-resembling pearls.
Striped shirts with neo-Renaissance sleeves and dresses in pale nuances (e.g., teal and pale pink) can follow the body forms in a fluid, elegant style. Women according to Cédric Charlier draw inspiration from menswear, wearing oversize pants, men’s jackets and trenches in cotton with leather details. Striped jeans are decorated with silver glares, while pleated-wool items adapt to the volumes of women’s body.
Important pieces of jewellery complete the look, together with maxi bags in printed cotton, to be matched to jewelled sandals and knotted-around foulards.
