Andrea Mondin pays homage to Venice

Five models and a clear tribute to the city of Venice and its ancient history. It is not by chance that the recurrent motif in the creations by young stylist, Andrea Mondin is the collar ruff, as well as the brocades, all typical details from Venice style and culture. This crinkled element, dating back to the men’s and women’s wardrobes from the Sixteenth and Seventeenth centuries, has been turned by Venetian lacemakers into a valued decoration to be worn, framing the footwear in the various shoe models from this young stylist’s debut collection: from mule or sabot shoes to ankle boots. The ruff collar is hand made by a company based in Tuscany (Italy), while all shoes are produced in Parabiago.
