Amen FW 2019/20: a tribute to “The Dream” by Henri Rousseau

For the next Fall-Winter 2019-20 season, Amen has drawn inspiration from the naive painting and the dreamy atmosphere of the enchanted, luxuriant jungle in the painting by Henri Rousseau, “The Dream”. The Animalier theme is here proposed in a more feminine guise, and it offers a poetic reinterpretation of the brand’s style. The accessories complete the collection, including shoes with applied rhinestones and pump shoes in crocodile print, up to deconstructed bags enriched with brilliant crystals.

Silhouette: The collection recalls the dreamy landscape of an enchanted jungle. Double-breasted jackets with sequins appliqués are matched with Animalier-print trousers. The models for the evening – embroidered jumpsuits and back-uncovered dresses – are a perfect example of informal elegance.

Colours: The winter white and the black complete a warm chromatic palette ranging from gold to emerald green, with some touches of brilliant fuchsia.

Prints and patterns: Animalier (zebra and leopard) prints are alternating with embroideries enriched with little beads and laces from a sophisticated Retro style.
