Daniele Fiesoli, with 20-year expertise in up-cycling and local manufacturing optimization, is a Florence-based brand pioneering in 100% made-in-Italy sustainable luxury production.
On 7th January 2020, it is celebrating its first, twenty years of activity during the next edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo 97. At the very heart of this special event, there will be a new version of the consolidated green project #upcycledcashmere in favour of a creative, quality reuse of a noble textile like cashmere.
The next Fall-Winter 2020/21 Collection will be totally green, and it will be based on the innovative vision of the brand’s founder, who has introduced a new manufacturing strategy oriented towards environmentally-sustainable ethics and best practices.
“We have decided to celebrate our first 20 years within the international context of Pitti Immagine Uomo 97, presenting the new step of our important heritage project which is, at the same time, going to be highly innovative. Years ago, when I decided to get involved in the Upcycled Cashmere usage process for Knitwear, I did not only think about the respect for the natural environment but also about the possibility of offering a second, noble life to quality fibres for our collections, so as to prevent delocalised production processes from impoverishing the social fabric of the manufacturing industry. Today, we can clearly maintain that we successfully coped with this challenge, in a period when green economy is at the centre of the fashion debate but not only in it”, Daniele Fiesoli has commented.
