The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the entire world and it has hardly hit the fashion industry, which is now trying to gain strength again.
Next September, the main world fashion shows will come back, starting from the New York Fashion Week, but, under any circumstances, the format will be mostly digital and it will be denominated “Runway360”, unique and innovative digital platform created by the CFDA and developed to support American designers.
But will the digital fashion show have the same impact of the real-life, physical event with the presence of its audience and staff? It seems hard to imagine it and it would be an illusion to believe the opposite. As a matter of fact, this year the worldly events will last for just a few days.
To present the new Spring-Summer 2021 collections, the runways in New York will take place from 11th to 16th of September. From 18th to 22nd of September, the fashion agenda will see the scheduling of the London Fashion Week. For Milan’s show, we will have to wait for 22-28 of September. To conclude, the Paris Fashion Week will take place from 28th of September to 6th of October. Notwithstanding the difficult international situation, the fashion system is now strongly thriving for recover the positions lost in the last months. And all fashion lovers will not miss out their favourite fashion events, even if they are going to join them virtually.
