After the success of the Green Carpet Fashion Awards held in Milan, Sustainable Fashion now moves to Rome during the next Green Fashion Week. From 6th to 9th of November, the Italian capital city will host the sixth edition of the event sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), and organised by GD Major, and the non-profit organization FSA (Fashion Service Association). The event aims at generating public awareness on the topics of sustainability, as well as promoting the fashion industry’s path to meet the goals endorsed by 193 UN member countries in the Agenda 2030 for a future sustainable development. The initiative will involve stylists, designers and international companies willing to promote the concept of sustainability through their collections and products, to be realised with environmentally, socially and economically sustainable production materials and processes. All these collections are evidence of how ecofriendly fashion should not compromise elegance and style. Since its very first edition, the Green Fashion Week has encompassed companies ready to convey style, elegance and excellence in the luxury, comfort and well-being industries, by using sustainable materials only.
