Master Buyer 2.0: Professional Manager in Fashion Activities

The Master “Buyer 2.0: Professional Manager in Fashion Activities” will be presented in Milan on 15th September (starting in February 2018) organized by Unicollege and thanks to the partnership between Adiuva, an advanced consulting and formation enterprise, and Nuova Libra, a publishing company trade boasting 20 years experience and competence in the fashion world.

Renewed horizons in the field of fashion formation: in contrast with the large and consolidated offer of study courses related to fashion design, styling and modelling, new professional roles are taken into consideration instead; this is how a new master dedicated to the importance of the role of the buyer is born. The Master “Buyer 2.0: Professional Manager in Fashion Activities” will be presented in Milan in the Adiuva’s headquarter in Piazzale Cadorna, on 15th September at 16.30. During the presentation the main objectives of the Master will be outlined, as well as its academic planning, the cycle of lectures and the apprenticeships process. Also included, are various speeches and interventions by the faculty on various topics that will be covered throughout each course. A further testimony will be trusted to the experience of Cav. Mario Boselli (Honorary Chairman of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion), who will be the student’s mentor throughout their journey.

The Master “Buyer 2.0: Professional Manager in Fashion Activities” has the aim to examine the role of the buyer within the fashion industry and to analyse it under various point of views relating to an offer that is becoming increasingly complex, and to a multiplying of the means of distribution as well as the fragmentation of consumptions. Through a constant balancing between teachings related to the marketing, economics and statistics sectors, and the ones from a more historic sphere, what will emerge is a complete picture of the fashion world, in which the role of the fashion buyer will be capable of distinguish itself through its multidimensionality and potentials. Thanks to constant balancing between the bases of economics and marketing as well as elements of theory and media digital techniques, the master promises to fulfil the various facets of a role that requires updating and a different profundity, when compared it to the past, as it is now capable of connecting the productivity side with the distribution one, being well aware of the mechanisms of communication and consumption of the sector.

The master has a yearly duration (from February 2018 to November 2018) and it’s structured in 3 modules. The courses are internally managed by researchers from the main Italian Universities, while involving professionals from the fashion and the communication sectors in the lectures. The master also avails of the patronage of Cav. Mario Boselli (Honorary Chairman of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion).
